| Event - Well I was 13, and it was Halloween. Although all my friends had outgrown treat or treating, I wasn't about to let a pillowcase of candy go unclaimed. So I went out by myself. Lame, I know. While making my rounds around the block, I spotted some younger kids up ahead of me, and they spotted me. They starting throwing eggs at me, and yelling "Hey, it's Johnny, throw eggs at him". Well, my name isn't Johnny, and due to the mask I was wearing, these eleventeen-year-olds were completely unaware. I walked right up to the kid with the eggs, grabbed him by the shirt and said "I ain't Johnny, kid" in my best Clint Eastwood voice. I let the kid go, and the whole group took off down the street, shouting things to the effect of "let's get the @#*! outta here". |
| Apology - I guess the saddest thing about this story is there was no one around to laugh at what was probably a pretty funny sight. But imagining what these kids were thinking kinda made me feel bad I guess. To them, I was just a random stranger wearing a frighting Halloween mask. So, sorry kids, are we cool?? |
