Event - We had a grapefruit tree in our backyard that never grew s**t. Sometimes something would bud, but then it would die. For some reason one time this grapefruit decided to grow. My mom watched it every day, so proud and excited. The thing REALLY got big and she couldn't wait till it was perfect to pick and try. It became like her daily routine "Gotta check the grapefruit!" I was in the backyard one day throwing the ball against the wall and hit the corner. It hit the grapefruit and knocked it off the tree. It spilt open when it hit. Cr*p! I didn't tell her. I just chucked it over the neighbor's wall. Next time she went to check I was in my room, but I could hear her talking to may dad. She was like almost crying!
Apology - I am so sorry mom. It was an accident and I'm sorry I never told you. If it makes you feel any better, it didn't look that good. I'll buy you a whole bunch of new ones.
