| Event - So, there was this guy I know who organised this massive party in a place where everyone planned to get drunk and stoned. Bearing in mind all the people invited are under 18, so it's illegal in the first place. I tipped off the police thinking they wouldn't react, because they never do, and I thought it would be funny just to watch everyone run off blind drunk into the darkness because of the two police officers in the town coming to take a look.
To my surprise, the police did respond.
They arrived in three riot vans and were in full riot gear. They arrested, detained, questioned and fined everyone there, about 40 kids (some of which were my friends) and they all now have little footnotes on their criminal records. My girlfriend's brother was there that night, which I feel really bad about. |
| Apology - I want to apologise to all my friends, I didn't mean to f*ck up your futures by telling the police. I can only hope that you manage to get on the right track, and even though I know I did the right thing by telling the authorities, I didn't mean to get my best friends caught up in the process. I feel really terrible about it, and all I can ask for is forgiveness. |

The "Missing" Contact

| Event - My friend got really drunk the other night trying to, as she put it, "drink her problems away." Unfortunately, that resulted in drinking a rather excessive amount of whisky in too short of a time period, which, of course, resulted in vomit. Before throwing up she wanted to take out her contacts and put in her glasses; I obliged. They were the expensive, hard type. Apparently, she dropped one while taking it out, and it landed on my bathroom floor. I found it the next day while cleaning up, and, thinking it was ruined, put it down the sink. You called me the next day asking if I had seen it, and I said no. |
| Apology - I'm genuinely sorry that I didn't take care of you more in the beginning of the evening so that all of this could've been prevented. I guess I didn't realize how bad the situation was. I'm also sorry that I lied about your "missing" contact, and please understand that I did not throw it away out of spite; the contacts I wear, once dry, no longer work. |
