Event - I was pretty popular in school. A dance was coming up and a guy in one of my classes asked me if he was there would I dance with him. He was a really nice guy, but kind of a nerd. I said sure figuring he'd never go. But he did and he asked me to dance in front of my friends. It was an awkward situation because I knew my friends would give me crap. But it did dance with him. After, I was joking with my friends about how it was a pity dance and how I was just giving a geek a thrill. Didn't see him standing nearby and hearing it :(
Apology - No one should be treated like they are not equal or not as good. If anyone was, it was me. Sorry for that night and any harm I caused. I still think about it often.
