Event - Ever since my son was born, pretty much every money gift that he's gotten for birthdays and holidays, I've spent paying household bills or trips to Target (buying stuff for the family) instead of buying him toys as the gift was intented. But in my defense, he is an only child and has tons of toys that he barely plays with. Plus he never asked about the money, even as he got older.
Apology - I am sorry to all the people who thought they were buying him toys over the years. Like I said, the money did go for family expenses, but I still feel badly about it. Now, he has his own bank account, and the money will go there.
Event - One time my friend and I were driving around and saw a hooker on the roadside. Looking like she was all heroin-ed out, we pulled up a couple of meters away and I stuck a £20 out the window. She staggered towards it. As she got really close we rolled forward and like a carrot in front of a donkey, she followed the car all the way down the road.
Apology - Sorry hooker. Your substance abuse problem should not be used for our amusement.
Event - I was leaving for the day and forgot I didn't have parking cash, so I grabbed a couple bucks from my husband's wallet. When I got home he was furious and told me I took his lucky $5 bill. I didn't even know he HAD a lucky anything! Apparently it had 7 9s or something in the serial number. I guess that makes it lucky or something.
Apology - So if anyone comes acrross it, I'll give them $10 for it. Sorry.
