Girl With Braces, Spin The Bottle

| Event - I was so interested in dating a girl in 8th grade named Kathy O. She was cute but wore braces and everyone called her tinsel teeth and other names. We were at a party playing spin the bottle, and I was so excited when she sat down to play too. On my turn the bottle pointed at Kathy and everyone started goofing on me that I had to kiss tinsel teeth. I acted like a jerk and pretended I wanted no part of her either. |
| Apology - What an a-hole I was. That girl deserved such better treatment and I went with the idiot crowd. I have always regretted my stupidity and wondered how badly I hurt her feelings. Kathy O, I am so sorry. And this was 40 years ago... |

We do stupid things when we're young, plain and simple. Sorry you had to carry this around for so long. If there is any way to forgive her personally, I say "Go for it." Good luck. |

Screw peer pressure. We all have our own brains. Let's use them as such because 'idiot' crowds will surround us all our lives. If you can find/tell Kathy O, chances are good she'll love to hear from you. I've done this same thing eons ago and have renewed some friendships from grade school. |
