Throwing Shoe At Dog

| Event - My dog has a bark that would wake the dead. The other day the UPS guy knocked on the door and the dog went nuts. I lost it and threw my shoe at him from across the room. I don't know if I was trying to hit him or just scare him. It was so fast. I hit him and he yelped. I'm sure he's not hurt, but still. |
| Apology - I know he's a dog and I know he's going to bark. No one needs to tell me that. I just need to accept that and let him do his thing. Sorry Jar-Jar. I'll keep my shoes on from now on. |

Your poor dog, he's only doing what comes natural to him. Maybe it's time to find him a home with more patience or cough up some dough for dog training. |

Every time Jar-Jar barks order him to bark. Once Jar-Jar accepts to bark at your command tell him to hush. He will figure out what you mean. Keep it simple and don't forget to reward Jar-Jar just as soon as he gets it right (each time). Soon enough you'll be able to tell him to bark at the people you don't want at your door - nice reward for you. I predict this will take less than a week. Go Jar-Jar! |
