Broken Leg

| Event - I played catcher in high school and one game there was a play at home plate. The guy was rounding 3rd and the throw came into me. I dropped the ball and it went way past me. There was no chance I could get it and still get the guy out. So I just blocked the plate, pretending I had the ball. He slid into me and broke his leg. |
| Apology - It happened really fast, but I had no reason being there. He was sitting on the bench next time our teams played with his leg in a cast. I should have gone over to him or something. |

If the guy didn't know how to slide properly he shouldn't have tried it. |

I did something kind of the same in football. Your instinct just kicks in and you don't have time to think. But you should have done something about it later. Bad call. |

Big deal. Bones heal more strongly than before. If he was wimpy enough to get his leg broken, he'll need the strength. |

You took a chance of hurting a man when you didn't have the ball in the first place? Hope when his leg heals he kicks you with it. |
