Killer Dog

| Event - Our dog is not evil. But he was for one day. Charlie (the dog) was in the backyard with me when I heard some whistling in the front. So I opened the gate a little to see who it was. Charlie dashed out the gate and leaped on the whistler...an 83-year old woman. I quickly got him back, but not before he chomped on her leg - lots of blood. By then my wife came out and we brought her inside the house - so apologetic. Then the old lady lowered the boom. Smiling, she said, "If I could survive the Holocaust, I can survive your dog." Arg! She also mentioned later her son was a lawyer - great! But nothing became of it. She was walking by the house the next day, with a metal rod in hand. "My son said I have to carry this now on my walks." |
| Apology - She was so nice and said not to worry, but we felt so bad. We apologized a hundred times, but I'll do it again here. Sorry lady! |

Lets hope her son doesn't find your admitting to your error. This could be another one of your non-thinking mistakes. Use brain before opening gate or mouth. |
